Nestled in the lucious Aguacate mountains of Costa Rica, just one hour from the country's
capital of San Jose, sits Valle de
Machuca, 45 acres of pristine landscape, gently rolling hills, fruit tree
forests and clean rivers and streams.
The
incredible
Machuca
River gushes crystal
clear waters, spawns beautiful pools, waterfalls and spectacular swimming
holes. The neighboring town of
San Mateo sources its
drinking water directly from it. This
small 'Tico' town is approximately 3 miles from the property and offers public
parks, local restaurants, a church and several small stores.
Kopali Communities is offering 40 ecological lots for sale in an agricultural community boasting
luscious organic gardens, scenic views, rolling hillsides and secluded
vistas. An ecological waste-water
treatment plant will be built on-site, engineered and designed by world-renown
biologist and visionary leader Dr. John Todd. Valle de Machuca provides a
living experience like none other, bringing together the elements of community
living, sustainability, education and healthy, holistic lifestyles.

(potable) water lines from this well. These tanks will also be used
for emergency fire protection.
Valle de Machuca is a place for people who wish to
live healthy and sustainable lifestyles. A place where there are no
fences between neighbors. A place where "community" truly has
meaning. A place where environmental stewardship and social justice
are a way of life - not just a fleeting notion. We wish to create a
home where residents can live, work and play...where children can play
outside without fear of harm.
We wish to be inclusive, not exclusive, authentically embracing the
local community and their history, their culture, their traditions and
their future. A multi-generational, multi-cultural community, Valle
de Machuca is open to people from all over the world who want to live
in harmony with one another and with nature.
